First off, I am excited to see that you are interested in helping us promote our service.  Hopefully this means you are excited as well.

Just a quick overview of how our affiliate process will work.

  • You must either be a MyWebSiteHost.com web hosting client or pay a small one-time setup fee of $19.95.
  • You signup via our online form
  • You are assigned an affiliate id and receive your set of webpages
  • You can immiedately start promoting this website
  • For each client that signups up through your personalized website, you will receive an email informing you of the new signup.  You will also receive a 15% referral commission at this time
  • Each month your referrals remain clients of MyWebSiteHost.com, you will receive 15%, month after month
  • You will receive 10% of monthly hosting fee for each client your personal referrals send to MyWebSiteHost.com
  • We pay out commissions on the 15th of every month for the previous month of service (so, September 15th, we would pay for August services)
  • Checks are only sent if $50.00 has been earned for the given commissions period.  If less than $50.00, the commissions will automatically accumulate until that amount has been reached

That is pretty much it, in a nutshell.  Below are the same set of Policies, Guildines and Disclaimers used for our clients.  Our affiliates must agree and understand these as well, in addition to the following:

  • You may not promote our services via SPAM or Unsolicated Commercial Email.  It is your responsebility to understand what this means
  • You may not promote our services via "safe email list" clubs.  Many of these clubs are not "safe"
  • You may not use MyWebSiteHost.com in "thank you" emails of Free For All Link sites
  • Our domain name, MyWebSiteHost.com may not be used in the intial contact email to a potinial client.  They must request the URL from you personally
  • If the form of promotion you are attempting doesn't sound quite right, please do to try it.  Please contact us first and we will let you know.

The above additions are taken very seriously.  SPAM/UCE has become a major issue with most affiliate programs on the Internet today.  If any of the above Policies (and polices listed below) are broken, you will be removed from our database as an affiliate and not receive any commissions due to you.  You will also be billed a $500.00 administration fee for each valid SPAM/UCE complaint received.

The above does sound a bit harsh, but in order to maintain control of our affiliates, we must stand firm on our policies.  The possiblity remains that one affiliate could runion the entire affiliates program for ALL affiliates, not just that one.  Hopefully you understand...

Here are the standard Policies, Guidelines and Procedures that must be followed by both our clients and affiliatess.

POLICY, GUIDELINES, & DISCLAIMER

MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises provides web hosting to many clients, and we have a responsibility to protect each client and to provide the best services available. The following guidelines were established to ensure these obligations are met.

CONTENT:

All services provided by MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret and other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises and its employees from any claims resulting from the use of the service which damages the subscriber or any other party.

Pornography and sex-related merchandising is prohibited on all MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises servers. This includes sites that may infer sexual content, or links to adult content elsewhere. MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises will be the sole arbitrator in determining violations of this provision.

Also prohibited are sites that promote any illegal activity or present content that may be damaging to MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises servers or any other server on the Internet. Links to such materials are also prohibited.

Examples of unacceptable content or links:

- Pirated software
- Hacker programs or archives
- Warez sites

MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises will be the sole arbitrator as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.

Unlimited Traffic:

We are pleased to offer our clients unlimited Web page traffic. To maintain the integrity of our service, the following restrictions apply:

NOTE: Since there seems to be so many questions about the statements below. Here is the way we look at this. These rules are only here for your own good... let's say you have a great site and you are running a million hits a month and all is good... what happens when a server hog gets on the server who is getting 30 million hits a month... inadvertently his site will keep everyone else's from working... We will contact you if there is a problem and we will resolve it together.

- Multiple hosts resolving at an IP or domain name that we provide:

This means if you open a account with one website and your pointer sites. We apply this rule if your pointer sites are high traffic....we would call you, email you and ask you what can we do about it. Unlimited Traffic is for one site not a domain with 5 others pointing at it.

- Sites with banners, graphics or cgi's running from their domain used on other domains:

When you employ services such as Link Exchange or a cgi host who lets 1000's of others link to their site, it is important that you require any sites you exchange ads with, display your ad on their server. Not only will not abiding to this guideline cause your site to load slow, depending on the resources that you are absorbing you will inadvertently affect our other clients.

- Sites with archives or galleries (.gif, .jpg, exe, zip, tar, etc.)

Meaning if your site has tons of downloads or pictures. NOTE: You must be putting a serious drain on our system before we say anything.

- Sites offering download files:

This is any site where 20% or more of their monthly traffic is from file downloads.

- Sites using more than 20% of system resources:

MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises will be the sole arbitrator as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.

- Commercial Advertising - Email:

Spamming, or the sending of unsolicited email, from an Site Host server or using an email address or domain that is maintained on an MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises machine as a reference is STRICTLY prohibited. Accounts in violation of our spamming policy WILL BE DELETED WITHOUT NOTICE. MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises will be the sole arbitrator as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.

- Chat Rooms:

We do not allow clients to install their own chat rooms. These tend to be a large drain on system resources and we cannot allow it as an account option.

- Background Running Programs:

We may allow programs to run continually in the background. These are considered on a case-by-case basis and an extra charge will be incurred based on system resources used and operational maintenance needed.

- IRC:

We currently do not allow IRC or IRC bots to be operated on our servers.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT:

MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises does not provide technical support on non-server issues. We WILL NOT respond to emails pertaining to such requests. This includes but is not limited to, all 3rd party software, Java, CGI, scripts, Real Audio/Video, applications utilized in developing your web site, including HTML, MySQL, Telnet, FTP, Email Clients.

NOTE:  If you purchase extended technical service, the above does not apply.

SERVER ABUSE:

Any attempt to undermine or cause harm to a server, or customer, of MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises is strictly prohibited.

REFUSAL OF SERVICE:

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or suspend service at our sole discretion.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental and consequential damages, which may arise from MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises servers going off-line or being unavailable for any reason whatsoever. Furthermore, MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental or consequential damages, resulting from the corruption or deletion of any web site from one of MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises servers. All damages shall be limited to the immediate termination of service.

Violations of these Acceptable Uses Policies should be referred to abuse@mywebsitehost.com

All complaints will be investigated promptly.

Failure to follow any term or condition will be grounds for immediate account deactivation.

DISCLAIMER:

MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises cannot be held liable for system downtime, crashes, or data loss. We cannot be held liable for any predicted estimate of profits in which a client would have gained if their site was functioning. Certain services provided by MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises are resold. Thus, certain equipment, routing, software, and programming used by MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises are not directly owned or written by MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises. Moreover, MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises holds no responsibility for the use of our clients accounts. If any terms or conditions are failed to be followed, the account in question will be automatically deactivated. We reserve the right to remove any account without advanced notice for any reason without restitution as MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises sees fit.

ACCOUNT ACTIVATION:

By activating your account with MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises, you agree to the above policies and disclaimer. Upon requesting an account activation, you are required to accept these policies, guidelines, and disclaimer and a copy of your acceptance is forwarded along with your activation request to be maintained within your account information.

NOTICE: If you sign up for an account and do not follow our terms. No refunds will be given. We will however let you know by email or phone before any action is taken you will have a chance to solve the matter.

FURTHERMORE, MyWebSiteHost.Com/Hasbrouck Enterprises retains the right to change any or all of the above Policies, Guidelines, and Disclaimer without notification.
